The short version
- Agents run beside AccuLynx and Roofr, not instead of them.
- Your CRM keeps the record. The agents keep the file moving.
- You decide later, if ever, whether Bench becomes the system of record.
- The hard calls still belong to your people.
You keep the system you paid for
Most roofing companies we meet live in AccuLynx or Roofr. Years of jobs are in there, the office knows every screen, and the reps have the app on their phones. We're not going to walk in and tell you to throw that out. The first thing we do is run agents next to it. Your CRM keeps the record. The agents do the filing, the follow-ups, and the status updates that fall through the cracks when the office gets busy.
If you decide later that Bench should be the system of record, that's a decision you make on your own schedule. Nobody makes it for you on day one.
What the agents do beside it
An agent works the parts of the job that don't need a person in the room. It pulls the photos into the file. It drafts the supplement cover letter from your notes. It logs the day-of carrier call so nobody has to retype it. It notices the file that hasn't moved in three days and flags it. All of that shows up in Bench, and the job in AccuLynx stays where your people expect it.
What stays with your people
Homeowners, adjusters, and builders still want a person on the hard call. The agent can have the file, the photos, and the numbers ready before that call starts. Your person sits the meeting. That split doesn't change no matter how many agents you run.
What about Xactimate
Same rule. We don't clone it and we don't replace it. The agent prepares what goes into it and files what comes out. Your estimator still owns the scope.
