Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (this "Policy") explains how Aerone Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Aerone," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with the website at benchagi.com (the "Site") and our related marketing and account activities (together, the "Services"). As used in this Policy, the Services mean access to and use of the Site and our related marketing and account activities, and do not include the BenchAGI product.

Scope of this Policy

This Policy covers the BenchAGI website and our related marketing and account activities. It does not cover information customers enter into the BenchAGI product; that is addressed in the customer’s agreement with us. If you are an individual whose information is in a customer’s account, please contact that customer.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

(a) Information you provide: identifiers and contact details such as name, email address, company name, and phone number; account credentials; billing and transaction metadata processed through our payment processor, Stripe; and the contents of communications you send us, including demo, sales, and support requests and any newsletter signup.

(b) Information collected automatically: device and connection information (such as IP address and browser type), Site usage and log data, and operational telemetry from the Services. We use analytics and functional cookies as described in Section 4, and we do not use advertising or retargeting technologies.

(c) Information from third parties: information from our service providers and, where applicable, business partners and publicly available sources.

Sensitive information: we do not collect sensitive personal information, such as government identifiers or financial-account credentials, through the Site.

2. Sources

We collect personal information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Site and Services, and from the service providers and partners described above.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information to operate, maintain, and secure the Site and Services; create and administer accounts; process payments and billing; respond to inquiries and provide support; communicate with you, including marketing communications you may opt out of; analyze and improve the Site and Services; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used and to improve it. We also use a first-party referral cookie (currently set for 90 days) when a visitor arrives through a partner referral link, and session and security cookies needed to operate the Site, and we collect page and scroll analytics through a cookie-free session identifier on our own servers. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. You can block cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we honor recognized browser-based opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for the browser and device on which the signal is used.

5. How we share personal information

We share personal information with the following categories of recipients:

(a) service providers who perform services for us, including Stripe (payments), our cloud hosting provider, Google Cloud Platform (United States), and Google Analytics (site analytics);

(b) our professional advisors, such as auditors, lawyers, and accountants;

(c) authorities and other parties where we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, property, or safety; and

(d) a successor or acquirer in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Automated decisions

We do not use personal information collected through your use of or access to the Site to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human review.

7. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it. The criteria we use to determine retention periods include the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purposes for which we use it, and applicable legal and contractual requirements.

8. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Additional information about our security practices will be made available at our trust center (benchagi.com/trust).

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights, subject to legal exceptions: to know or access the personal information we hold about you; to request its correction or deletion; to obtain a portable copy; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising; and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise these rights, submit a request to the contact address below. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law, generally within 45 days and extendable as permitted. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. If we deny your request, you may appeal by contacting us at the same address, and you may also contact your state attorney general with any concerns.

10. California disclosures

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1 (identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity, and communications) for the purposes described in Section 3, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients described in Section 5. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may exercise the rights described in Section 9.

11. Other U.S. state rights

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas, among others, may exercise the rights described in Section 9, to the extent those rights are provided by their state’s law. Where a state provides it, this includes the right to appeal a denied request.

12. International users and data location

The Site and Services are operated and hosted in the United States and are directed to users in the United States. Our customers are generally based in the United States, but the Site is accessible from other locations and we cannot control who accesses it. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand and agree that your information will be collected and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your location.

13. Children’s privacy

The Site and Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

14. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party sites whose privacy practices we do not control. Please review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide additional notice as required by law.
