The short version
- Bench reads one tenant-bound Google Search Console property.
- The report returns finalized clicks, impressions, CTR, and position.
- ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini can explain the returned rows, but they do not get a second source of evidence.
- This is reporting, not a crawl, site audit, recommendation engine, or website editor.
What we read
We read the finalized performance rows Google has for one connected property. You can request a view by date, query, or page. Each returned row carries a source reference so you can see which evidence a sentence came from.
This is not a general read of the web. Search Console returns the rows it has recorded, and Google may omit low-volume or otherwise undisclosed queries. An absent row is not proof that a search never happened.
How the report works
The report covers at most 31 calendar days and 1,000 rows. The connection is read-only and is checked against the exact property on every request. ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini can explain the same returned rows, but Bench does not ask them to crawl your site or combine their answers into an automated score.
What you get
You get the selected Search Console view, the returned metrics, the evidence references, and the time window used. You do not get an overall grade, a ranked fix list, or a promise that every query is present. Search Console data can lag by two to three days, so a missing recent day is not a zero.
What it cannot do
Bench cannot change a title, redirect, sitemap, page, ad, or Search Console property. It emits no automated recommendation. If you decide to make a change after reading the report, you or your website operator makes it outside this reporting path.
Questions
Is this a promise to rank us?
No. It is a read-only report of finalized Search Console rows for one property. ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini can explain those rows, but no model can turn them into a ranking guarantee.
Does it crawl our site?
No. It reads Search Console data only. It does not inspect pages, run a site audit, or decide what to change.
What does the report recommend?
Nothing automatically. The report gives you evidence and source references. ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini may explain what the returned rows say, but any recommendation is yours and must point back to that evidence.
