The pile
Every claim carries a pile. Inspection photos, the adjuster's scope, your estimate, the first supplement, the carrier's response, the second supplement, the notes from three phone calls. That pile is where claims get dropped, because somebody has to keep it together while also doing their real job. In most offices that somebody is a person with a folder and a good memory.
What the agent does with it
The specialist agent lives in that pile. It gathers the photos and the documents into one packet, keeps the supplement history in order, and gets the file ready before the next call. When the carrier sends something back, it goes into the packet. When a deadline is coming, the agent flags it. It works the list of open files the way a good coordinator would, except it doesn't lose track on a busy Thursday.
What stays human
Adjusters want to talk to a person. So do builders, and so do homeowners who are scared about their roof. That call is the job, and it stays with your people. The agent's whole purpose is to make sure the person on that call has everything in front of them and nothing left to hunt for.
Where your CRM fits
Same rule as everywhere in Bench. AccuLynx or Roofr stays the system of record. The agent runs next to it. Nothing gets ripped out to make room for the specialist.
