SMS Terms

1. The program

Bench work notifications are text messages sent by Aerone Inc., which does business as Bench (benchagi.com, “we” or “us”), to registered users of the Bench web app who have opted in to text notifications in their own Bench account. These users are employees of contracting companies that use Bench to run their business, such as sales representatives.

2. What we send

Transactional work notifications generated by Bench automations in the web app. For example: a new appointment offer that has been assigned to you, with a link to open and accept it in Bench before it expires, or a task assigned to you on a job. Bench writes every message from a fixed template. Messages contain no marketing and no personal information about your customers. Examples:

• Bench: New appointment offer for you. Open and accept by [3:45 PM]: https://benchagi.com/app/field-ops/offers/[offerId] Reply STOP to opt out.
• Bench: A task was assigned to you on deal [deal number]: [task name]. View it: https://benchagi.com/app/deal/[dealId] Reply STOP to opt out.

3. How you opt in

Once the program launches, sign in to your Bench account and open your Account page (https://benchagi.com/app/account). In the Text notifications section, enter your mobile number and check the separate checkbox, which is unchecked until you check it. Its label reads:

“Text me work notifications from Bench, such as new appointment offers and tasks assigned to me. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”

Links to these SMS Terms and to our Privacy Policy appear next to the checkbox. Opting in is optional and is not required to use Bench. If you do not opt in, new appointment offers still reach you as notices in the Bench app, and by email where your company has turned offer emails on, and tasks assigned to you are still on the job in the Bench app.

After you save, Bench sends you one confirmation text:

Bench: You're opted in to work notifications. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

4. How often

Message frequency varies. It depends on how many offers and tasks are assigned to you.

5. Cost

Msg & data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.

6. Help

Reply HELP to any message for help. You will receive:

7. How to stop

Reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out. You will receive one final message confirming it, and then no more messages:

Bench: You are unsubscribed from Bench work notifications. No more messages will be sent. Reply START to resubscribe.

You can also opt out by unchecking the box in the Text notifications section of your Account page. To start receiving messages again after replying STOP, reply START.

8. Delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts are not the only place to find your work: your offers and tasks are always in the Bench app.

9. Privacy

We do not sell or share your mobile number for marketing, and we do not share your text messaging opt-in data or consent with third parties. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, including in its section on text message notifications.
